Ferrari has increased its 2026 outlook after delivering second-quarter results that came in ahead of Wall Street expectations, underscoring continued strength for the Italian luxury automaker even as the broader auto market remains closely watched by investors.
For the quarter, Ferrari reported adjusted earnings of 2.62 euros per share, above the 2.50 euros expected by analysts surveyed by LSEG. Revenue reached 1.94 billion euros, also ahead of the 1.88 billion euros forecast. The company said operating profit rose to 605 million euros, with a 31.2% margin, while net profit came in at 463 million euros, about 9% higher than a year earlier.
Guidance increase reflects resilient demand
The updated 2026 guidance now calls for revenue of roughly 7.6 billion euros, up from 7.5 billion euros previously. Ferrari also raised its adjusted earnings forecast to 2.97 billion euros from 2.93 billion euros, alongside modest increases to industrial free cash flow and adjusted earnings and operating profit. Chief executive Benedetto Vigna pointed to a sustained rise in personalization demand and resilient interest in Ferrari vehicles, noting that the company’s order book is filled through 2027.
Investor reaction was positive in early trading, with shares up about 2% before the market opened on Thursday. RBC Capital Markets analyst Tom Narayan said the timing of the upgrade was notable because Ferrari typically waits until the third quarter to raise guidance, describing the move as a constructive sign for the rest of the year. The update adds another data point for the auto industry and EV-focused market, where premium brands continue to be judged not only on unit demand but also on pricing power and customer customization trends.
