Vertiv is expanding its position in the data center cooling market through the acquisition of ThermoKey, according to the report. The deal is intended to deepen the company’s capabilities as demand grows for infrastructure that can support artificial intelligence workloads.
The company has been building out its platform for thermal management as data centers face higher power densities and more demanding cooling requirements. ThermoKey’s addition is expected to complement Vertiv’s existing offerings and extend its reach in the cooling segment.
